– To understand that a positive safeguarding culture is key to safeguard children
– To understand current safeguarding issues and how this impacts your school
Description
This virtual training will begin at 9 am and finish at 1 pm via Microsoft Teams.
You will have an experienced trainer who understands real-life safeguarding concerns and solutions within schools.

– To understand that a positive safeguarding culture is key to safeguard children
– To understand current safeguarding issues and how this impacts your school
We will look at the current guidance, legislation and law, the roles of the designated safeguarding lead, the impact of the cost of living crisis, local crime, relevant safeguarding concerns effecting education, your school’s safeguarding culture and we will give you free resources to help you implement your statutory duties.
At the end of the training, you will receive a completion certificate.
